"American Idol" is set to go live tonight, kicking off this week's run with an extra episode.
The show is introducing a new segment this season called "Rush Week." On Tuesday, the top 15 girls will take the stage, where they'll learn who among them will get the chance to sing live for the first time. On Wednesday, the top 15 guys will go through the same process. Thursday will be a results episode, as America casts its first round of votes for the latest batch of singers.
By the end of the week, "Idol" top 13 will be chosen. Ten singers will come from America's votes, and Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. will all have to choose their own "wild-card" singer to remain in the competition.
Tuesday will also see the return of former judge Randy Jackson. He'll be on the show in the role of in-house mentor, bringing along with him former contestants Adam Lambert and Chris Daughtry to coach the top 30 for the challenge of the live shows.
iHeartRadio's own Nathan Fast got a hands-on look at Randy Jackson's Bootcamp to see what the Season 13 finalists have to go through. Check it out below.
