We have a concrete communications shelter at our current site. We will be moving it to our new location. First, it needs to be "cleaned out"
Lots of "trash"...
A relatively tiny building gathers lots of trash over 20 years
Inside you can see towards the center of the door way - a black tower-like box. Its our back up transmitter. It was one of the first solid state transmitters on the market and served us from 1989 until 2008.
A new "main" transmitter sits just to the left - out of site range. A very old (1950's) vintage RCA transmitter did sit to the right of the back up transmitter until we ran out of room and decomissioned it in 2008.
Away goes the trash
At the new location, cows are abundant.
So, fencing needs to go up around the poles, etc.
So of the fencing is due to electrical hazards up close at the base of the towers...
Some of the fencing is aimed at keeping the cows from rubbing, licking and their general bovine rowdiness to a minimum
